Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop, along with her husband, Charles Reed Bishop, Founded the Kamehameha Schools in 1887. Since then, thousands of Hawaiian Students have had the privilege of formal education as Beneficiaries of the Princess' Will. All Beneficiaries learn about the Princess' Will in English classes, the significant impact it has on the Hawaiian Community, and what an Honor it is to have been selected as a Beneficiary. When Beneficiaries become Alumni, there's an expectation to continue support of the Princess' Will, in whichever way possible--Volunteer / Donate / Fundraise.
